Nokia's ReefShark Chip will enable 5G connectivity
Nokia has announced that in MWC 2018 they are going to launch their ReefShark chip which will enable 5G connectivity by radio frequency and baseband units.
This chipset is based on a new architecture with network slicing and native support of machine learning and artificial intelligence. So, company's hope is with IoT companies to buy their bulk chipsets as it includes 5G connectivity as well other modules. Now using ReefShark maximum throughputs for Nokia Technology will be up to 84 Gbps per module.
Currently the company is collaborating with more than 30 companies having wireless carriers and they will start receiving by later of this year. Soon in Nokia phones you will see this game changing technology.
